M's activate Lee to make anticipated debut against Rangers

The 31-year-old southpaw then posted a 4-0 record with a 1.56 ERA in five postseason starts, recording both wins for Philadelphia in the World Series.

The 2008 American League Cy Young Award winner joins righty Felix Hernandez to form one of the best 1-2 rotation combos in the majors.

To make room on the roster, the team optioned pitcher Shawn Kelley to Triple-A Tacoma. Over six games out of the bullpen this season, he went 1-0 with a 2.57 ERA.
